Become a FEED User
If you would like to use the FEED facility to start, maintain, or grow your food business there are a few things you will need to do.
1. Attend one of our User Information sessions
- Click HERE to request information on when and where those will be held.
2. Read the FEED User Application Guide – There are two versions, one for casual users who will only use FEED for special projects or occasions, and a second for non-profits using FEED for work they are doing or for the individuals operating new or existing food businesses such as caterers, food carts, product developers, and those selling wholesale or to the public directly.
Commercial User Application Guide

Casual User Application Guide
- Click the link to find the most recent version of our FEED Kitchens Casual User Application for users doing cooking classes or preparing food that will not be sold and is not subject to licensing or inspection.
3. Complete the application to work in FEED
- Download and print the application that applies to your kitchen use.
- Fill out the form and attach any required paperwork.
- Read the FEED User Handbook to learn the rules of the Kitchens.
4. Mail the application to:

- Currently the applications cannot be filled out online and emailed, but you can scan them and email them to feedmanager@northsidemadison.org if you wish.
